Meet The NBM-D88N

PATLITE's NBM-D88N is an interface converter that solves modern problems in today's ever-changing workplace. The NBM-D88N, or NBM for short, allows you to add a variety of PATLITE signaling devices to a network for real-time monitoring and data acquisition. With discrete input and output terminal blocks, use the NBM as a gateway to connect to your network without the need for costly system upgrades.

Remote Accessibility

We get it. People are still working remotely in 2022 and the need to receive valuable factory alerts is of the utmost importance. With the NBM, you can seamlessly receive email alerts from the factory to a home office - or to any office, really - in real-time. Additionally, you can send emails to up to eight addresses per alert notification and use a web browser to send commands to the device via the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP).

Applications

Example 1:
The shift to remote work for many Americans is here to stay. But what happens when people are working from their home office without being physically present at the factory? There might be a line stoppage, unauthorized entry or an emergency that needs immediate attention. Many facilities face one of these problems due to their signaling solutions not being connected to their network, making it challenging to notify those not on the premises. A solution to this is to incorporate PATLITE's NBM-D88N interface converter.

This device is able to take signals from these various areas and convert them into an email that is sent through the network. It has eight inputs and outputs and has its own web browser making it easy to configure. With PATLITE's NBM, working remotely has never been more stress-free.

Example 2:
The factory produces canned goods but has no way of analyzing bottlenecks or if a machine stopped working unless they were on the factory floor. They wanted to set up real-time monitoring of their network without having to upgrade their PATLITE signaling solutions and needed something to address those concerns. They ultimately decided to try out the NBM for various reasons, including email capabilities, discrete input and output terminal blocks and compatibility with various command protocols.
