PATLITE’s Signature Signal Towers

LR Series

The LR is PATLITE’s signature Signal Tower series, featuring a modular structure and a broad range of mounting options. Compared to other stack lights that are constructed using a center bolt to fix the components in place, the LR Series Signal Towers have a completely modular design. This means that the LED modules and buzzer units can be freely reconfigured using its twist-and-lock mechanism, enabling users to effortlessly swap out components to constantly suit the needs of their changing work environment, and without having to replace the entire signal tower. Additionally, the LR Series is available in fully assembled towers, making the ordering process easy without having to order individual components and assembling them in-house.

LR Series

The LR Signal Tower is available in 4 sizes (40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 70mm), 5 LED colors (red, amber, green, blue, white), up to 3 body colors depending on wiring type (off-white, silver, and black) and up to 3 voltages depending on the model (12V DC, 24V DC, 100-240V AC). The rugged housing of the LR carries an IP65 rating for use in harsh environments. The LR Series is also compatible with a full range of mounting options (L-bracket, folding bracket, pole mounting, etc.) and accessories (clear globe LEDs, buzzer unit with 4 sound patterns), allowing users to fully customize their signal towers to suit their unique applications.

The LR Signal Towers are also compatible with our WD Wireless Acquisition System. This WD System can wirelessly collect light and buzzer statuses of the connected LR Signal Towers in real-time, which can be output to a CSV file and analyzed to improve OEE and productivity. Collecting data with the LR tower is easy – just twist a WD Transmitter unit onto the tower, and it will send status information to the Receiver unit, which collects the data. The WD system is perfect for any user who wants to be able to monitor and track their machine or work status changes in order to mitigate bottlenecks, reduce downtime, and optimize workflow.

Visualize Air Quality

LR Series

At this manufacturing facility, an LR Series signal tower is installed to show the air quality level within the plant floor. A sensor takes readings of the air quality, and when the air quality reaches a certain threshold that is above normal, the amber LED module of the LR tower is illuminated. If the air quality worsens and requires immediate attention so that people can evacuate the area, the red light of the LR tower flashes, along with its buzzer. The LR tower is pole-mounted on top of their main machine with a folding bracket, so that the towers can easily be tucked away when not in use or when the machinery needs to be transported.

Reconfigure Based on the Situation

LR Series

This freight company has LR Signal Towers installed at their facility to visually express the current weather outside. The purpose of this is to warn the truck drivers when the weather is not good, so that they can prepare for harsh weathers in advance before going out on the road. The green LED tier indicates sunny weather, the amber LED indicates cloudy weather, and the red indicates bad weather such as rain or fog. During the winter months, the white and blue LED modules are added to their signal towers to warn drivers of snow and icy roads. The modularity of the LR towers allows them to easily add and remove LED modules as needed, without having to replace the entire signal tower as the seasons change.

If reconfiguring components of the LR Signal Tower is easy, ordering them should be just as simple! With our website designed specifically for the LR Series, you can use the “Build Your LR Signal Tower” page to generate an LR part number based on your specification and mounting needs. Just choose an option from the drop-down menu for each component, and it will automatically generate your customized LR part number!

In addition to the part builder, there is also a function to covert a legacy model to its corresponding LR Series, for anyone looking to replace their existing towers with a newer model. Simply select the features of your existing PATLITE signal tower including the model, number of tiers, voltage, etc., and the converter will give you the exact LR part number that you should order.
